Eva Hallberg - Tai Chi Instructor and Singing Teacher
Eva has been teaching Tai Chi for Health groups since 2017 after completing her training at Hälsotaichi. The training is based on a form that is particularly gentle on the joints, called Tai Chi for Arthritis. It stimulates balanced posture in combination with movement, presence, and calmness, and is good for stress management and mental training.
Many studies have shown various positive health effects of Tai Chi training, such as fall prevention, a stimulated immune system, lower blood pressure, and pain relief.
Eva has a background in music from the Malmö Academy of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. After many years as a freelance singer and teacher, she developed her own holistic and therapeutic approach to singing instruction, called “Creative Voice.” This approach includes exercises that stimulate the overall function of the voice, drawn from voice yoga, classical singing, and autonomous voice training, among other sources.
Eva is also a tactile therapist.
