Randi Bjerge-Sköld – Qualified Alexander technique instructor, singing instructor

    Randi Bjerge-Sköld is an Associate Professor / Associate Professor at the Department of Classical Music and Music Pedagogy at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Agder. She teaches classical singing, interpretation, chamber music, instrumental methodology and stage readiness. She has previously taught at the Norwegian Academy of Music (NMH) and the Academy of Music in Malmö, Lund University.

    In Randi's book "On the conditions of nature" you get a guide on how to regain the freedom of breathing and create optimal physical conditions for free exercise. For a musician, this can not only allow you to stay at a high artistic level for a long time, but you can also avoid many stress injuries by being a performer on the terms of nature.

    Randi Bjerge-Sköld published her second book "On the conditions of nature" at the publisher Cappelen Damm Akademisk (Oslo) in November 2018. It will be published in Swedish by Gehrman's publisher (Stockholm) during the academic year 2019/20 and will also be translated into Finnish, French and Chinese.
